In recent years I’ve become a huge fan of the work of many Canadian Inuit & First Nations artists

This white porcelain glove mold

This piece was designed by Anneliese Beckh

Mexican Folk Art Wooden Alebrije in the Manner of Manuel Jimenez old mirror This print is numbered 9/150This is a handmade wooden Alebrije, or carved wooden animal, from Oaxaca, Mexico, very much in the manner of renowned Alebrije creator Manual Jimenez, if not made by him specifically, which it might be. But I am not quite sure what animal it is meant to represent exactly! The neck is not quite long to be a giraffe (though he did some terrific giraffes, which this closely resembles but for the shorter neck and tail), but too long to be a deer, I think.
