Lovely 1796 Hand-carved Spoon with Handwritten Inlay Under Glass vintage abstract watercolor which I like but whichA wonderfully tender, special feeling thing, this spoon, from a time when spoons were still fairly precious things. This one Is Welch, I believe (Tregaron is an ancient market town in Ceredigion, Wales), with the name R. H. Jones followed by Lamb, I am not certain if part of his name or? and date of 1796 (I believe a 9) handwritten and inlaid, under glass, in the handle, surrounded by chip carved decoration. Quite likely a love token (love spoon), of
