Wabanaki Ash Splint and Woven Sweetgrass Cup Basket kitty or just setting on aThis sweet small Wabanaki (likely Penobscot) Northeast Coast Native American basket holds a glass cup, which I think is most useful for the fact that it has helped it hold its shape very well. Made of ash splint and woven sweetgrass, this one has a fair amount of age and a nice patina. Handy for holding some little things or just to add to the basket collection. A tiny bit of breakage to the red dyed splints at the very center of the lid (I have yet
