Wilhelm II, Emperor of Germany Size:L: 90 x 60cm ' J H F LinkWilhelm II, Emperor of Germany, 1900. Wilhelm II (1859 1941) succeeded his father Friedrich III as King of Prussia and Kaiser in 1888. The last Emperor of Germany, he was forced to abdicate on 9 November 1918 as disorder was spreading with the approach of defeat in World War I. Wilhelm spent the rest of his life in exile in the Netherlands.
