Antique Islamic Hispano Moresque Lustre Pottery Mamluk Nasrid Candlestick Circa 1870 Redo housed in a blue hardwoodIncredibly rare & monumental antique Mamluk Nasrid Islamic pottery copper lustre candlestick, circa 1870. This incredible pottery candlestick follows the the form of a 14th Century Mamluk period inlaid brass candlestick from Syria. The lustre glaze follows pottery made by the Muslims in Spain during the Nasrid dynasties of the 13th Century to the 15th Century. The candlestick having a stepped and flared candle holder, with bands of blue, cream and
