2023 | Descendientes de J. Palacios 'Petalos' | Bierzo Chateau La Gaffeliere velvety and ripe tannins yetFrom the Bierzo wine region, Descendientes de J. Palacios Ptalos 2022 is produced from mostly Old Vines Mencia (between 40 to 90 years of age) with 10% white wine grapes and 5% local red grapes. The wine was fermented in large old oak cask, then aged for eight months in new French oak barriques, followed by eight months in neutral oak barrels. Fresh with fine herbs, red berry, mineral and spicy aromas and flavours on the palate, it is velvety tannined
