From a parcel of Pinot Noir planted in 1990 on a west-facing slope of Portlandian limestone in Vincelottes near Irancy

The wine is then aged in barrique for eleven months

and equal parts Carignan and Counoise from low-yielding vines with an average age of 40-70 years old
