He worked his way up from cellar hand to head winemaker at Quinta da Murta in Bucelas before going independent in 2019. His debut vintage in 2016 was famously funded through a pioneering crowdfunding campaign while he was still at Quinta da Murta. He focuses on Lisboa's overlooked white grapes: Arinto, Fernao Pires, Vital, with a touch of Alvarinho. Pitau Branco is his entry
